Pretensions of art

Those clever chaps at Apple and the ingenious apps for the iPad have encouraged a more adventurous cartoon — mostly using the Brushes app, so brilliantly pioneered by David Hockney. (The people at ‘Brushes’ then shot themselves in the foot by bringing out a whole new version, which managed to inexplicably banjax their original creation.)

A lot of the cartoons here are about artists and art for no reason other than interesting images seem to want to be hung up on a wall and my pretension in drawing them is equalled only by that of the characters comments.
